Not many words to describe this weekend other than feeling a little disappointed with myself for putting myself in a difficult position with poor starts, forcing me to work my way through the pack from far behind in tough sand.

At the same time, I’m really proud of the effort I put into both races. I’ve started to feel really good in the sand, and coming from so far behind to finish 7th in both motos shows that the speed and fight are there. 💪🏼

With only a few rounds in the WMX series, every single point counts. The championship is really close, and after this weekend I dropped back to 7th. The top 5 is still within reach, but unfortunately, as things stand right now, I won’t get the chance to fight for it anymore.

I think that’s what makes the disappointment even bigger. I was supposed to head to Australia for the final round, but last week all those plans suddenly fell apart. That left me with no realistic way to get my bike there, and with such short notice, the budget simply isn’t there to ship it myself.

It’s frustrating when something completely out of your control takes away an opportunity you’ve worked so hard for — especially when you know you still had a real chance to fight for a top 5 in the World Championship.

Still, I’m proud of how strong I’ve felt this year, both physically and mentally, and of the progress I’ve made. I truly hope I get another chance next year, because I know I have so much more to show.

This year has shown me that I have the speed and potential to fight at the front. I know there is so much more to come, and I’m more motivated than ever to keep pushing and come back even stronger. ❤️‍🩹

Round 3 WMX – Foxhill, England 🇬🇧🔥

Another weekend of positives. P8 in qualifying and two strong P6 finishes in the motos gave me P7 ? overall.

I know there was more in me this weekend, but I showed good fight, stayed consistent both days, and kept pushing until the chequered flag. The first minutes are something I’ll keep working on, because once I find my flow, I know I gets stronger throughout the race.

Solid points, good battles, and another step forward. Still in fighting for a top-five position in the World Championship standings, and there’s definitely more to come💪

Now it’s time to get some sand surfing in before the next round⛱️

A good weekend with some great battles on track!

Qualifying: P1

Heat 1:
Not the best start, but I quickly moved into P2. I pushed hard the whole race and tried everything to make a pass for the lead, but just couldn’t find a way through. Finished P2.

Heat 2:
An even worse start, coming out of the first corner in P4. quickly up to P3, and as the track developed, more passing opportunities opened up. After a few laps I moved into P2, and a few laps later I took the lead and brought it home for the win.

Overall: 2-1 for 1st overall 🥇

Another step in the right direction, and I extended my championship lead.

A big thank you to @bengtkumlin for all the help this weekend, my mom for coming with me and supporting me, and my dad for preparing the bikes so well before the weekend. Everything worked perfectly, which made my job a lot easier.
